Shortlisting of the agencies for providing catering services at NISM

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) invites applications for shortlisting of agencies for hiring of Catering Services at NISM Premises. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 5 Crore per annum.

NISM is a public trust, established by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator for securities markets in India. NISM seeks to add to market quality through capacity building. It is an autonomous body governed by its Board of Governors.

NISM is currently operating from its residential campus located at Plot No. IS-1 and IS-2, Patalganga Industrial Area, Village Wasambe (Mohopada), Rasayani, Taluka Khalapur, District Raigad, Maharashtra – 410 222.

The campus comprises academic blocks, administrative offices, and residential facilities, including hostel accommodations for senior executives participating in short-term training programs (from 1 day to 2 months), as well as hostel blocks for students enrolled in full-time programs of 1- or 2-years’ duration.

A fully equipped kitchen facility is available on campus, complete with necessary kitchen equipment and associated infrastructure. The catering contractor will be permitted to utilize these facilities to provide catering services.

NISM is in the process of identifying and selecting a suitable contractor for providing catering services for its above-mentioned campus at Patalganga and office premises at Vashi. The following will be the broad scope of services to be provided by the selected contractor:

In Patalganga Campus:

To serve tea/coffee, cold drinks, juices, snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. to the Senior Executives / Trainees and Students staying in the hostel blocks.
To serve tea/coffee, cold drinks, juices, snacks, lunch, etc. to the Staff Members and Guests of NISM attending office.
Day to day up keeping of the dining halls and kitchen area.

In Vashi Office Premises:

To serve tea/coffee, snacks, etc. to the Staff Members and Guests of NISM.

Eligibility Criteria

The contractor should fulfill all the criteria as per the details mentioned below. The contractor should have:

Its office / establishment in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai/ Thane/ Raigad District.
Minimum experience of 07 years in catering field. The agency should have been established on or before June 30, 2018.
Registration certificate / License from office of the Regional Labour Commissioner.
Provident Fund Registration.
ESIC Registration.
GSTIN Registration.
Permanent Account Number (PAN).
Food License (FSSAI License). After award of the work, the selected contractor will have to obtain food license with the address of NISM campus.
The average annual turnover for last three financial years ending March 31, 2025 should not be less than Rs. 4.50 Crore.
The contractor should have handled any of the following works during last 7 years ending June 30, 2025 successfully:

a. Three similar* completed catering services contracts with yearly compensation not less than Rs. 2.00 Crore.
or
b. Two similar* completed catering services contracts with yearly compensation not less than Rs. 2.50 Crore.
or
c. One similar* completed catering services contract with yearly compensation not less than Rs. 4.00 Crore.

*Similar completed catering service contract(s) meaning catering service contract(s) carried out for Institutional / Educational / Commercial / Office premises etc.
