The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.
About NISM Ideathon NISM Ideathon is part of NISM’s advocacy efforts to enhance financial literacy, investor education, and increase public engagement in India’s securities market.

Case study–based approach (real or hypothetical).
Final deliverables:
Project Report: Detailed report of around 15–20 pages.
Presentation: Detailed deck of around 10 slides.
Student Deliverables
Case analysis of a cyber fraud incident with root cause evaluation.
Actionable insights and takeaways to:
Warn investors of red flags and digital risks.
Promote responsible digital investing.
Prevent future fraud.
To be delivered in the format of a detailed project report and presentation.

Open to currently enrolled students from all interested institutes (UG and PG)
Each team is to ideally have a faculty mentor (not compulsory)
