The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

School for Securities Information and Research (SSIR) organised a 40 hour Securities’ Market immersion program for College students in the months of October – November, 2021. Students of Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SVIMS) & SVIMS Business School attended and completed Online Program. The Valedictory Address was organised on Dec 17, 2021. The valedictory address was provided by Dr. C K G Nair (Director, NISM), Dr. V. R. Narasimhan (Dean, NISM) Address by Dr. Purshottam Patil (Director, SVIMS) Prof. Gangadharan Mani (Faculty in Charge, SVIMS) and Dr. Latha Chari (Associate Professor, NISM). The program was well received by the students and the Institutions appreciated and felt that the program contributed immensely towards enhancing the employability of the students.
