The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM Bhavan | May 13-14, 2016

The Training Programme on ‘Fixed Income Securities – Analysis & Pricing’ was held during May 13-14, 2016 at NISM Bhavan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai for both regulatory bodies and market participants.

The prime objective of programme was to provide participants a better and deeper understandingon the various aspects of the Fixed Income Securities Market in India and also the practical insights on the functioning and analysis of the Fixed Income Securities in India.

The topics discussed include Introduction to Fixed Income Securities, Investments in Fixed Income Securities – Risks and Rewards, Pricing and Valuation of Fixed Income Securities, Credit Default Swap (CDS) and Fixed Income Derivatives, Analysis of Fixed Income Securities, Securitization Industry in India, Products on Fixed Income Securities, Global Macro Economy & its Impact on Indian Financial Market, etc.

The participants for the programme were from different institutions like SEBI, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, MoF Bangladesh, Pondicherry University, Sacred Wealth Advisory, Aditya Birla Group, Quantum Asset Management Company, IIFL and NISM Officials, etc.

The participants were given Certificate of Participation at the end of the programme.
