The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), at its BKC office hosted the training programme for the Officers of Ambit Capital Private Limited on May 07, 2022 on the topic “Overview on Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisers Regulations.”

Mr. Naveen Sharma, General Manager, SEBI was the speaker for the session. Mr. Susanta Kumar Das, Member of Faculty, NISM welcomed and introduced the speaker.

Mr. Sharma during his address discussed about major changes of (SEBI) Portfolio Managers (PM) and Investment Advisers (IA) Regulations. He also deliberated on the recent orders issued by SEBI in Portfolio Managers and Investment Adviser.

During the session, various queries raised by participants were appropriately responded to by the Guest Speaker. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri. Das.
