NISM conducted three days training program on Corporate Finance for Capital Markets Authority (CMA), the capital market regulator of Uganda, on 25-27 June 2018.
The program was cnducted at Kampala, Uganda for the CMA employees, market intermediaries and Issuer Resource Persons in the Ugandan financial sector in the area of corporate finance transactions. The program helped in creating capacity building in primary market in Uganda. The discussion covered examples and case studies of Indian Financial Markets in order to understand its development over the past two-three decades. This has helped in providing the participants with practical understanding of the evolutionary path undertaken by the Indian Securities Markets and also related these to the current state of Securities Markets in Uganda.
