The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Case discussion plays a vital role in the teaching pedagogy of management and professional stream. Considering the same, the School for Securities Education, NISM has conducted a One-day Workshop of Case Writing for members of its teaching fraternity on 20.10.2020 at NISM Vashi Office.Prof. Bharat Damani and Prof. Amarpreet Singh Ghura, case writing experts in the area of corporate and social entrepreneurship were the key resource persons. They discussed the case writing process covering a wide range of topics viz., KASH approach, case topics selection and case structure, data collection and analysis, case publication and case review with plagiarism check. A case writing activity was the concluding aspect of the workshop.The workshop was directed by Dr. Rachana Baid and coordinated by Ms. Kiranjit Kaur.
