The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

One-Day Seminar on ‘An Overview of Securities Market

NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) has organized one day programme during “POSDCORB” (Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, Coordinating, Reporting, Budgeting) event at St. Gonsalo Garcia College of arts and commerce, Vasai, Maharashtra on February 20, 2020.

 

The programme was inaugurated by Shri Sunil Kadam (Registrar- NISM) in the esteemed presence of Mr. Ishwar Jha (Founder & CEO- Appetals) and Dr. Somnath Vibhute (Principal- G.G. College).

Shri. Sunil Kadam addressed the students about the Securities Markets and its importance.

Mr. Abhay Nagale, Faculty, NISM has delivered on Mutual Funds. Ms. Rupali Mhatre, Executive, NISM has guided the students about various career opportunities available in the securities markets and role of NISM in capital building and training. All the sessions were interactive and attended by above 650 students. The programme was well received by the participants.
