The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Morningstar Conference 2014

Held on 11-12 November, 2014 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, the 2014 Morningstar Investment Conference was a very successful event. The two day Conference, brought together the speakers from various client companies and representatives from government regulatory departments from around the world involved in all aspects of economic outlook.

The Program commenced with opening remarks by Haywood Kelly followed by the Inaugural Speech delivered by Prashant Saran, whole time member, SEBI.

High quality sessions and brilliant panel discussion were presented. Morningstar Investment Conference 2014 concluded with a ‘Summing it up’ panel discussion. It was concluded that the investment advisory function should evolve with time and the technological developments should be utilised to cater more clients efficiently.
