The School for Regulatory Studies and Supervision (SRSS) of National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) had conducted half day training programme for Defence Officers from College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad on December 12, 2022 at NISM Bhavan, Vashi.
The participants of the programme are currently undergoing a 44 week long Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC) offered by College of Defence Management (CDM), who belong to various cadres of the rank of Colonels and their equivalent in the Navy, Air Force, Para Military Forces, civilian officers from the Ministry of Defence.
Dr. Ranjith Krishnan, Head, APU and Industry Liaison Officer welcomed the delegates, briefed about the activities of NISM and introduced the theme of the session.
Dr. Rachana Baid, Professor, Dean & HOD- SSE, NISM elaborated the salient features of Mutual Funds-Structures, Schemes and Investment Regulations. The prime objective of the programme was to make participants understand the basics of Mutual Funds.
The programme was attended by 14 senior officers of the rank of Colonels and their equivalent in the Navy, Air Force, Para Military Forces, civilian officers from the Ministry of Defence.
The programme was well received and highly appreciated by the officers.
